LAHORE (Sports Reporter): Sri-Lanka beat Pakistan by 64 runs in the first T-20 of three match series against Pakistan in Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.
Pakistan won the toss and elected to field first and invited Sri-Lanka to bat first.
Sri-Lanka set a victory target for Pakistan 166 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in 20 overs.
In reply, Pakistan were all out 101 runs in 17.4 overs.
Sri Lankan batsman Gunathilaka played well and made highest score 57. Avishka Fernando 33 and Bhanuka Rajapaksa made 32 runs.
Fast bowler Mohammad Hasnain created a new world record and became the youngest bowler to pick up hat-trick in T20 international cricket.
Shadab Khan also took one wicket.
Pakistani bating line failed by the Sri Lankan bowler. Iftikhar Ahmed 25, Sarfaraz Ahmed 24 and Babar Azam just made 13 runs.
Sri Lankan bowler Isuru Udana took 4 wicket, Nuwan Pradeep 3, Wanindu Hasaranga 2 and Kasun Rajitha has took one wicket.
The second match of the series is on 9 October between Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
