ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan is expected to meet tech giants in Beijing on 8th October.
Prime Minister Imran Khan is expected to meet the Executive Chairman of AliBaba Group Mr. Jack MA.
PM Khan will also meet with CEO of Baidu the biggest search engine in China and the founder and chief executive of Chinese tech giant Huawei Ren Zhengfei, in Beijing. PM will also visit Huawei headquarters in Beijing.
Imran Khan is also expected to meet with representatives of other leading Chinese tech firms; during his last visit, these firms had pledged large-scale investment in Pakistan.
Huawei has established a regional service centre in Pakistan, while Alibaba has already invested more than 500 million US dollars and have eyes on huge Pakistani market in IT sector.
Prime Minister is expected to reach Beijing on the night of 7th October and will leave back on 9th October for Pakistan.
