ISLAMABAD: Pakistan provided consular access to India for Indian spy, serving Naval officer and RAW operative Commander Kulbhushan Jadhav today.

It has said in a press release issued from Office of the Spokesperson today.

Charge d’ Affairs of the Indian high Commission in Islamabad Gaurav Ahluwalia availed consular Access. It has provided in line with Vienna Convention on Consular Relations, ICJ verdict and the laws of Pakistan.

Consular access to Indian spy also provided at 1200 hours and lasted for two hours, in the presence of officials of the Government of Pakistan.

On Indian request, there has no restriction on the language of communication. In order to ensure transparency and in line with standard operating procedures as conveyed to the Indian side in advance, the access has also recorded.

As a responsible member of the international community and in line with our international commitments.

Pakistan has also provided un-impeded, uninterrupted consular access to India to Kulbhushan Jadhav.
