The Board has extended last dates too many times on the demand of potential tax payers.
Chairman FBR also contacted with heads of the SECP and gas distributors and Discos to sought help for increasing taxpayers.
On Friday, Shabbar Zaidi also wrote a soft reminder letter to Managing Directors Sui Gas Companies. Wherein, he requested that consumers not present on Active Tax Payers List may not be provided commercial and industrial gas connections.
Shabbar stated that many users of commercial and industrial gas connection do not fall within ATL of the FBR. He has requested that the list of all persons using industrial and commercial gas connections be shared with FBR as soon as possible. He said the companies should issue intimation to the users of such connections to comply under the Income Tax law.
